Relaxing on Deck in the Evening…

One of my favourite moments on any barge cruise is relaxing on deck in the evening as the sun goes down, with a glass of French wine or a G&T… or whatever takes my fancy! Not a care in the world, except to wonder what we’re having for dinner.

We might be moored in the heart of a pretty little French village, or in front of a majestic palace, or simply on a remote stretch of waterway under the plane trees… we could be kicking back in the jacuzzi… or relaxing in a comfy deck chair… or gathered around the table chatting with friends about the day we’ve just spent discovering some little-known part of France… yep, livin’ the life!
